I have always loved stationery items. Going through the office supply store aisles looking at the journals, planners, and notepads that have so much potential. So I knew I wanted to create something that everyone can benefit from. That's when I created the Ultimate Guide to Adulthood monthly organizer. I wanted something that could help everyone and to give hope to those that don't have a lot of options when growing up.

I am an Alaskan Native from my fathers side. It is the tribe Inuit. I'm a lot closer to my mothers side. My mother's tribe, Xaxli'p, is from Canada. Which is why I chose the name Amarok. It is from the tale of the Inuit story. A wolf creature that stalks and devours anyone who is foolish enough to hunt alone at night. The wolf is the symbol of the Xaxli'p tribe, and the tale comes from the Inuit tribe. So I thought it was perfect!

I did grow up in the foster system. I struggled to find someone to turn to when I had questions transitioning to go live on my own. I didn't know what questions to ask. I felt like I was lost and I feared of failing. I wanted to create something that would benefit those that were in the foster system, or to those going to live on their own for the first time, or has no idea what to do, or just wants to feel confident living on their own.
